Mountain Stream Budo hosted its semi-annual karate shiai on Sunday October 26th.

Kathryn Brocchi tested for 7th kyu blue belt in kobudo on November 8th, and Richie Gleason and Kenny Moore tested for 4th kyu green belt in ju jitsu on November 1st. Congrats!!

Satellite Classes in the Bronx

Dai Sempai Justin Braun is running an adult karate program in the Bronx. Classes are held on Mondays & Wednesdays from 5:15 - 6:15pm in room 455 in I.S. 151 (off 156th Street and Concourse Village East).

Dai Sempai began his karate training in 1986, and has been training actively in the art for approximatley 12 years since that time. He currently holds the rank of Nidan (2nd degree black belt) in karate, and also holds the rank of ikkyu (3rd level brown belt) in Japanese ju jitsu. He is a lawyer who works for the Bronx District Attorney.

Lil' Dragons Class Changes

Beginning on September 3rd 2008, Lil' Dragons classes will follow the following schedule:

Wednesdays from 4:30 - 5:00
Fridays from 4:30 - 5:00
Saturdays from 12:00 - 12:30

Dragons classes will NO LONGER meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
